Lower Taxes
Frank Lozano says enough is enough! Time to lower taxes and practice fiscal responsibility. City officials often cite rising costs and essential services as reasons for maintaining high tax rates. While these needs are indeed legitimate, they cannot be an excuse for inaction. It’s time for Harlingen to adopt a laser focus on efficiency and fiscal responsibility. We need to streamline our operations, create a zero based budget instead of just adjusting from last year, and we must explore alternative revenue streams before asking residents to dig deeper into their pockets to fund the city.

You can vote early from Dec. 2nd through 10th. Early voting will be at the Cultural Arts Center, City Hall, and the Convention Center. Election day is Dec. 14th and the voting location is the UTRGV Auditorium.
